Bio: By day, I am an urban designer and my passion is designing better streets for people to walk, bike, and be in communities where car has been king for way too many decades. AKA, Urban Design Director of California for Toole Design Group. By morning, afternoon, and eve, I am dreaming of riding (and running!) my way through the landscape rain or shine, gravel or pave...I came to cycling later in life (30s!), California even later (40s!) and gravel riding shortly thereafter. Teens and twenties were spent as a competitive athlete and coach in soccer and alpine skiing (its what one does with a sociology degree, right!?). I’m here to learn from – and hopefully connect with! – other women who are interested in gravel riding and striving to become better and stronger with age!
